Peter McKellar

Peter is a simple guy who loves taking photographs and spending time in nature as a hobby. He is fortunate to be able to spend a good amount of time on personal projects, traveling and collaborating with very talented people. He makes his bed in Pretoria, South Africa and is a sucker for every opportunity to travel.

Peter has always been interested in photography as a hobby from a young age. He bought his first film camera during the mid '70. When he retired from his engineering career, he took up his hobby again. Peter eventually moved to digital cameras during 2004 and never looked back. His main interest in photography is wildlife with more emphasis on the big cats and their behaviour, as well as birds and African landscapes. Peter tries to capture fragile moments that will never again be and hopes to leave something of beauty in the process.

We hope that this site gives you a glimpse at his love for nature.
